Can a 18650 Li-ion fit on a Nitrolon G2?

Hi all, just a quick question

Can a protected 18650 Li-ion fit on a Surefire Nitrolon G2 or does it have to be bored out like the SF C2 aluminum ones?

I wouldn't do too much boring in the G2 as the aluminum tube is quite thin as it is!

a 17670 should fit.. less capacity, but still not bad runtime on a 3.7V lamp (G&P comes to mind)
