how much drain the elite max?

i have measured how many mA drain the elitemax at various levels with lithium batts:

boost mode:560ma
level 1 reg (unreg): 310ma (137ma)
level 2 reg (unreg): 210ma (101ma)
level 3 reg (unreg): 119ma (57ma)
level 4: 57ma
level 5: 14.9ma
level 6: 7.9ma
level 7: 6.5ma
level 8: 4.8ma
level 9: 2.9ma
level 10: 3.1ma
level 11: 1.6ma
level 12: 2ma
level 13 (beacon): 23ma

glow night beacon:0.3ma

the value in unregulated mode will be slightly more without the resistance of the DMM

Very nice. I may do this same thing with the new "blaster pack" EliteMax leds. The current draw should be much higher. Anyone else already take these readings?

From looking at the drainage curves on the techass web site, you really lose a lot of area under the curve by using regulation mode which makes me think the regulation isn't too efficient.

i think that without the resistance of the DMM in regulation mode the drain will be a bit less and without regulation a bit more
