I was looking for some laminating stuff for a wallet card, and my wife had some stuff with a blue grid and "GBC" printed on the back. I have no idea as to the brand/type, etc. They are in ~8.5x11 size sheets.

Instead of a super-clear plastic, it is textured a bit, like Writeright...but just a bit less. In fact, I think I may like it better than Writeright because I find it diffused less, so more throw is retained. It works very well on my UK4AA incan.

It even has a semi-sticky backing like Writeright, but I would guess it costs quite a bit less.

You can also try matte frisket films, available at art or hobby stores. These are very thin, low-tack mylar or vinyl sheets designed for airbrush masking. Frisket film comes in matte and gloss finishes. I use matte frisket film for diffusion and also to protect flashlight lenses.
