Well, I'm a newbie to both good flashlights and this forum, but have picked up a couple of Surefires recently. Ahhh, the rapid onset of obsession...
Anyway, after browsing through a lot of threads here, it seems like a 2-stage McGizmo tailcap should be the next buy. It would spend most of its time on an E1L, but may see occasional use on an L4.
What resistance should I order? 15 ohms? 22? 30? I've seen the beam shots in another thread, and they make a great comparison, but I'm having a hard time making the mental translation from the shots to a good low light level for everyday tasks that also provides good runtime.
