SL Scorpion LED head fit on Strion?

I'm interested in getting some rechargable grab-and-go lights and the Strion sounds in most ways to be great due to the lithium-ion rechargable battery.

HOWEVER, I have several Scorpions and have grown to seriously distrust Streamlights bi-pin bulb retention setup.

My guess is these lights have a lot of mechanics in common and it appears a 168S will power the LED, so it seems there is some hope that this might work.

Do you think this will work? Anyone have both lights to try this out?

EDIT: Never mind. I see that the charging contacts are in the head so this isn't going to be a plug-and-play situation. Oh well.

Nothing between the Scorpion and Strion are compatible.

The NF-2 and TL-2 bezel's (incans) are identical to the Strions, though.
