Hi Guys,

Does anyone know if there is a meaning in Night-Ops (Gladius) or SureFire lights?

For example, I think there is a serial number above which all black Gladius are HAIII, not ceramic. I know other products (e.g., Hewlett Packard calculators) have serial numbers which indicate the place of manufacture.

And, who has the highest or lowest Galdius serial number?

I had one, #10998, and just ordered a new one.

I think Gladius with a serial number of 10000 and up are HAIII. My Gladius has #00513 with the ceramic finish.

That I'm aware of the "serial" number of SureFires in 99% of cases is a way of telling one from the next. It is not a means of determining batch or anything else.

I believe this is because the etching is done during the assembly process in which product components are made in batches rather than flashlights assemblied in a one-by-one production line.
