Wow, that is the first I'd heard of the passing of the great Curt Gowdy.

In my opinion he might have been the best Baseball Commentator of All-Times.

He will be missed, but he will never be forgotten.

Thanks for the memories.

Wow...actually I thought he had already passed.

He was great. He also had a fabulous hunting show (The American Sportsman) that I used to watch. Bet he would have liked modern flashlights too!

Just checked his bio...Double Wow...he called 9 Super Bowls and 13 World Series among his other numerous achievments.

I was sad to hear this as well. I just found out a half hour ago, driving home from work. I was listening to Boston sports radio where they were interviewing Johnny Pesky, Red Sox shortstop who I think is actually older then Curt Gowdy and Johnny said the same thing, to say a prayer for and God bless Curt Gowdy.
