A Magmod I put together for a friend. He wanted it as short as possible:)

I have a similar light with the same UX1N Bin LED and it pushes an amazing 8500 Lux at 1 meter. The tailswitch is a dual stage switch with 10-Ohms resistance on low for 180 milliamp and maxes out at 1.4 amps on high.

Very nice and clean.

Very nice work ! :goodjob:

That makes a really nice amount of light per its size I bet.

What Driver are you using?
and how is the tailswitch dual stage? (3 clicks, or twist?)

The Unit in the background is a Mt5 robot from my work.

The Light uses a On Off On1 switch with a 10ohm resistor added for low output. The light is direct drive. The light measures around 8000 lux at 1 meter.

That is so nice. How did you get such smooth epoxy? (I assume it's glow powdered)

Greg

30 minute epoxy mixed with glow powder. You apply a little head to thin in out and flow it around the emitter.
