I dropped trou and left them in a heap on the bedroom floor, like the bachelor slob that I am. When I got out of the shower 15 minutes later, there were the pants still on the floor, with a cool-looking white glow coming out of the pocket. My L1p had turned on somehow even though there couldn't have been much of an impact, cushioned by the pants and all that. I'm not sure how it managed to do that. I'll have to watch out for that. This helps me remember why I like twisties.

Must have been a freak thing or perhaps you forgot to turn it off and put it into your pocket while it was still on. I carry mine in my pocket all the time (by itself) and I've never had it turn on. Of course, if you'd like, you can use the L1P as a twisty.

You can unscrew the tailcap a bit to lockout, which prevents from turning on, just like the SureFires. That will keep it from turning on in your pocket.
