Hi guys, just bought stuff from the 'bay and the seller uses an external checkout system.
Anyway, the long and short of it, there is a compulsory insurance of $5.80 which is not mentioned in the auction at all. I emailed him about it and he was quick to reply and nice about it, saying I can forego that but that means there will be no delivery confirmation, which also means I cannot pay by paypal as paypal requires delivery confirmation.
Anyone can confirm this?
1) Do insured international parcels have delivery confirmation?
2) Does paypal require a vendor to have delivery confirmation in order to receive payment?
3) Are there any other international shipping methods (besides Global Express) that have the option of some form of delivery confirmation?
I thought of emailing USPS and paypal, but that's quite a long drawn process and thought maybe someone here would know. Thanks!
