    Default A2 mods?

    Anyone mod the SF A2 LEDs?

    Probably not many, the A2 is pretty sweet on it's own..

    What would you want to see?? Luxeons?

    If you want to call it a mod, I sanded the leds down with my Dremel sanding disc until they were "Golf balled" looking then I took my Dremel with the polishing compound and buffing wheel and buffed them until they were shiny again.

    This way it has 100% light transmission without the "Ringy" artifacts. The leds remain crystal clear instead of the sanded "Haze", which IMO blocks lumens.


    If you look closley the Led's have the exact same texture as the reflector.




    You can still see artifacts, but this is a white wall people. Real world use, you dont see the artifacts.
