A friend stuck a keychain LED in the end of a conch shell and was very happy with the results.
He wants a single LED 110 volt solution so he can put it on a stand and use it as a night light.

I'm guesssing a wall wart and a resistor and maybe one or two LEDs. Does anyone have a plan or know of a commercial solution?

I also suggested EL to him.

Compact fluorescent all the way.

Available in anything from 10-40W with 40 to 150W incandescent equivalent.

Superior efficacy over LEDs

Thanks for the replies but I was not clear in my original post. This light will fit into a small hole at the end of the shell and illuminate from the inside.
Some of the candelabra lights mignt be small enough but not with the socket attached.
