Sonic G

I have a older model cmg Sonic G that I purchaced from county com a few years ago. It is a pretty nice model with HA 3 finish and has been a off and on EDC piece for a while. Well now it is broke or not working, first it stated acting cranky when turning on ( had to shake it or tap it ) now it won't come on at all. I've cleaned the threads, the spring contacts and swabed the circuit board contacts with electrical contact cleaner as well as changed the battery. I would like to try and fix it. it's not that great a light but with the US Govt. engraving and the HA 3 it has been a nice conversation piece. Any ideas on fixing it or where to check next ? Check for the circuit board flexing and busted traces on the board, etc. If worse comes to worse you could transplant the electronics from a regular Sonic.
