Uh... you mean for less than $50? You could always put a KL4 head on a single 123 body... that's just about the widest flood possible. But it will likely cost you well over $100 to put together.
Having said that, the Q1/Q3 is quite impressive for a single cell light, esp with an R123 cell.

You may want to consider some of the smaller multi 5mm led flashlights.

Have to agree. It is a great widebeam and works great on RC123. The Fenix L1P appears to be just as bright, but not as good a spill beam. Amazon has a great price for the QIII, plus you'll see my review there. :naughty:
