I just went to BatteryJuncton and saw that the T5 is finally showing in stock. I ordered one today. I hope to get it in the next couple of days. Will advise on first thoughts.

Is the only difference between the T4 and T5 simply the battery setup?

Not sure, but cosmetically it sure looks like it. I have a suspicion that it will be a bit brighter than the T4. It would seem a bad business move to come out with another primary lithium light that was not much brighter than the T3 currently offered. I'll let you know what I find. Wish me luck.

I've got one on order, too. My understanding is that there is a big difference in the the side-wall thickness, a little difference in the beam shape, and maybe some difference in intensity. From the dealer:
• The side-walls appear to be about 3/16" or thicker.
• The beam shape offers a larger hotspot and corona.
• The light is somewhat more intense.

Reading from Inova's catalogue awhile ago. They rate the T3 at 85 lumens while the T4 and T5 are rated at 100 lumens. We all know that Inova's lumen ratings isn't spot on but an increase on any scale should mean that it's brighter. Looking forward to seeing some thoughts etc on it.
