Kroma to come out in September????

I was talking with the local store that I order my lights from, and they told me that I would be able to order the Kroma in September?!?!

CAN THIS BE RIGHT?!?!?

Who knows with Surefire...I ordered my L4 when they first came out and it took forever...months...They are so tied up with military contracts that generally the regular consumer waits longer.

SF customer service told me yesterday the helmet light will be available by the
end of March or mid-April but the Kroma won't be available until end of this year

Out of curiosity I just called SureFire up to see what I could find out. In summary it seems that the answer I got from them is pretty much consistent with what Seery previously posted.

I admit that I would prefer my K2 Kroma sooner than later. But in the end, I know that the quality will be worth the wait.

I know they make excellent lights... but come on! Why have such a long wait?

I also read that K2 emitters will not be into lighs until Sep.-Oct.

This happens every year so I find it a bit strange that people seem to forget.

SHOT Show is the showcase for the new products SureFire intends to release during the coming year.

That means the Kroma should be released this year.
Perhaps in time for Christmas but we all hope sooner.
