I watt led lights.

I need some cheap 1 watt led lights for kids. i know they will wind up lost or broke, but want enough light to see well, when they are outside. I bought some 7 led lights, but the are not very bright.
I am thinking Dorcy, anything cheaper?

that light might be a little too much for the task. I have bought several of those and used them to make quite an impression on the unenlightened!
Here I would suggest the 9 LED or 12 LED 3AAA led lights from Lighthound.com
$5 to $7 each plus shipping

I'd suggest taking a look at the multi-LED lights at Lighthound or Dae's site here:

The more LEDs, the more light and the output of the 15+ LED lights are quite good. The 20+ LED lights make about the same total output as Lux1 lights, but you'll have little throw (but I doubt that matters for kids). These are lower priced than Lux1 lights.
If you must have a Lux1, the Dorcy Super 1W and Nuwai 2611X (check out lights.emilionworkshop.com ) are good, low-priced choices.

Or when looking at www.qualitychinagoods.com you could also take a look at the luxeon lights... there are some 3W lights that can be had for +/- $10 including shipping.
I got one of the MDXL V1 lights to mod my nerf gun with, but when I got it, I found it to be better than expected. It's bright enough to make my dad want one too

I would give these lights to my kids (if I had any)
