Sorry but he talks about titanium frames and fashion concerns more than a need for glasses.
He does not mention specifically what costs so much in the way of preparing the glasses and since most of this is done by machine today I'm not sure the diffference between what Wal-Mart does and what a stand-alone operation does is explained by more than the overhead of the latter.
