Will be going to Birmingham (Staying in Stratford) later this month. Any CPF'ers in the area? If Surefires or Mags are really that much more expensive over there, perhaps I can bring a few in my suitcase....

Sorry, twentysixtwo, Stratford is quite a few hours away from me.

I hear there's some nice places round there. Have fun!

TwentySixTwo,

Your offer is unbelievably generous!! But I too live soooo far away from 'Brum' that it won't be me who recieves your kindness.

Have a good trip!

Hope it's not raining too hard!!

Why not let us know what EDC's you bring in your carry on flight bag??

And if you have any trouble with the airline security!!!!

Have Fun.

Why aren't there any CPFers near Birmingham???

Also, I'm beginning to think we don't own cars either!!! The distances mentioned are not so large. I believe in USA they would happily go the equivalent of Cornwall to Brum for a chinese take away!!!

We are talking about discounted lights and generosity here.

Or, like me, are we all family men? It normally takes two weeks strategy to arrange a trip to the duck pond to dispose of stale bread!

...Pity the poor ducks and geese this Spring....go to work on an egg.....

Heh, think Brum's bad, try Aberdeen!

I'd love to make a trip down there again, but 1. I don't have time, I work all week, and 2, I'd be looking at nearly £100 in fuel for the round trip...

If it wasn't for those issues I'd go hop in the car and drive down there now.

...though until I replace the slave cylinder on the clutch I don't really want to trust it on trips like that!

No worries - had a very busy time with biz meetings and all. I may be travelling to Gotenburg later this year so I'll post again if the opportunity arises...
