WOW =-> I wear underwear too! I bet they drink water also? Maybe I should stop?

Not meaning to downplay the article at all...but indeed there are alot of watches out there with similar technology at a lesser price as well.

Dunno...

You know, you can take a normal clock and make it into a timer. Its pretty simple if you think about it.
Hell, I can even make a lava lamp a timer too. (Think about the globs and how long it takes em to melt)
A lot of things can be timers, even if they're not digital. (Anything with a low speed motor can be used in the same way.)

I guess watches are banned from airplanes next.
After that its going to be laptops.
Then underware...
It keeps on going...

Wooden clothes pins, the type with the spring can be used.
A thumb tack on each side of the gripping part is the switch.
Shoved under a tire they close when the car drives off.
Frozen in an ice cube they close when the ice melts.
Stick a piece of wood with string on it and tie the string to doors or put them in packages. Pull the string and they close.

Thermostat
An Intermatic "Time All" (Obvious)
A Candle
A cigerett

RC plane/vehicle (Not a timer but could be used as a remote controlled detonator)

Hell, they'll soon be putting RFID chips in everything we buy. Terrorist underwear is probably not as far fetched as it seems..
