Hello, I just got my new, but old style Inova X1 in black with blue light. And its switch really sucks. When trying to use the momentary function, it feels like there is very little room to push down the button. This makes the process very hard on my fingers. I am wondering if it is possible to disassemble the switch and make it easier to push, by moving the spring up a little bit or something like that. However upon taking the switch of, I see it it is not just spring there, so I really have no idea how to disassemble it. Has anybody else ever had this problem? How can I fix it? Thanks.

For about 90% of the range where momentary action is possible, you can just press on the metal part of the tailcap... you don't need to press specifically on the rubber part. Not until you get to about 1/4 turn from total lockout.

I pretty much NEVER press just on the rubber portion.

Honestly, I'd just as soon have an XNova type tailcap. Not only is it easier to press, but it would allow for stand up candle mode type of use.
