Lots of us like the L0P concept: a small, bright light with Type III anodizing but it's unregulated and has poor runtime.

Lots of us like the SMJLED but it's unregulated and needs at least 2 AAA cells to power it. It's bright and power efficient with long runtime.

So how about a regulated 1 AAA SMJLED Arc clone?

I think the following is possible:

- 15 lumens for about 6 hours, regulated and constant output
- Type III anodizing for key chain use
- 1 AAA cell for compact size

Easy, take a cut or un-cut SMJLED, and one ArcAAA head, take it apart, and replace the led. Might try to bump the current from 60ma to 100ma, or just leave it be. It's hard to do, but would be the same as what I did to my ArcAAA when I put in a NichiaCS U-bin.
