Best LED Drop-In for 2D Mag?

Whats the best LED drop-in for a 2D Mag. I bought a DB-3w and use it in a 3D Mag and like it a lot. I tried it in my 2D and it does not perform very well. Any suggestions?

I think you can get 3 C's into that 2D body. I intend to try this myself someday.

Better output and beam profile than the DB-3W in a Mag2D. And killer runtime, the last post I saw one was still running after 4 days and had just dropped to 50%. IIRC it was still over 200 lumens at that point.

I have the new DB-3W and run it a 2D Mag changed to 3C....runs great. Just do the 1" PVC pipe thing and cut down the lower (large part part) of the tail cap spring. Remove anodize from tail cap, and you are ready to go.

Went to Home Depot...bought 10 feet of PVC...since that is all I could buy it in. Did the mod and it rocks! Thanks guys! Now to get another DB-3w
