I currently own the this charger, but before I purchased new batteries, I was wondering if anyone has tried to charge the non-"I-C3" batteries with the rayovac PS6 charger?

How long would it take to charge a typical set of 2500 mah batteries? Does this charger feature any "smart" technology to stop charging when the cells are topped up??

I haven't been able to find this info anywhere, and I was hoping that you guys would be able to help...Thanks!

Hello Flash,

I seem to remember that when charging non IC3 cells, it acts like a timed charger. It runs for around 12 hours, then shuts off.

I tried it with some completely drained 2400 mAh cells, and it did OK.

SilverFox,

Thanks for the quick reply! If that is the case, I think that I should stay with the IC3 cells then.

:thanks:
