It's an Aurora (and it IS a Nuwai light...); it uses a Nichia Jupiter LED behind a focusing optic. It produces a "moon beam" like an early version Inova X1, with virtually no spill beam (albeit MUCH brighter than the X1). Target sells a version of that light under the River Rock name, using either 2XAA or 2XC cells. Hope that helps...you can also find them at www.advancedmart.com where they sell 3 different cell configurations of it.
