Hello friends :)
Sorry for my bad school english, i hope you will understand me.
Thank you very much for this interesting forum. I learn a lot and profit by your
knowledge.
So I will give you an idea. Perhaps its interesting for some of you.
I own several lamps but my favourite is my Fenix L1P with 2stage switch.
Thank you members:).
I am german an live the most of the year in spain. So I wear often pants without a belt. My knife edc has a clip so I decide, that my Fenix must also have a clip. For a better protection, I will carry the lamp into the sheath and build the clip on the sheath.
I take a 2mm titanium plate (you can also take a stainless steel plate) and work with a flex and a file the clip. The finish I polish with a polishpaper and the colors I get with a gas-burner.
At last I glue the clip on the sheat and for safety I take a plait fishing-line through the holes of the clip and the strap.

I think, the most of you are be able to do this.

I wish you good luck and best regards

Great idea,
Have no idea were to get titanium but I should be able to dig up some stainless steel. Wish I could get more L1P holsters, it is the perfect addition to hold Peak Pacifics/Kilamanjaros, Fire~Fly-III and other lights.

Nice idea...I would love to see a Ti clip like on the McLux's....screw it into the small holes for the strap.

Hello Remington BPD and other friends,
i can't show you a clip on a McLux but perhaps it helps, to show you a clip on my inova. I made a 4mm thread in the hole for the strap and fixed the clip with an inbus srew. I find, it looks nice.

The advantage of TI as against Stainless Steel is imo the warmer feeling and the color. It's not so glitter and more tactical:xyxgun:.

Best regards

Great clip!!

Reminds me of an old fountain pen.

I can't quite make out which INOVA you have there, It looks a little like an X5 - old style, but the black paint looks slick and glossy. Can you let us know?

Best Regards.

Gladly Nyctophiliac:grin2:

You're right, it's an old X5.
A tip for cutting Ti or Stainless Steel: I have best results with a flex and a
1mm disc for Stainless Steel. But be careful, only with goggles and gloves.
Good luck and best regards
