If you mean the RCR123 that are 3V, then yes it should work. Remember that they still come off the charger a bit hot at 3.8V. It's supposed to come down to 3.0-3.2V when a load is applied. I wired up a CR123 holder and a 4.5V bulb as a load so I can light it up for a second or two after recharging. This bleeds off enough residuals that I feel comfortable putting them in the light, especially those lights taking multiple 123s.
