He is about to assemble units for the beta testers. Which means the rest of us won't see them for 6 to 8 weeks. (based on Pacific beta testing to shipping time)
I am not used to the CPFers way of doing things.
First Wayne builds a prototype. Asks for opinions. Discusses 1,2,3 way switches; 10 vs. 45 degree optics; etc. etc. etc.
Then Wayne started the above thread. Assuming the design is now frozen, I found the money. Lo and behold Wayne started redesigning the light. The switch was moved from the tailcap to the side of the body. He tried K2 emitters (won't fit).
I am not used to things being redesigned after I paid my money.
A couple of interesting musings by Wayne during the 2 threads.
A 6x8mm light. Based on my Emillion's 7x7mm (8mm LED diameter according to Dae) this should be a reasonably bright (my estimate 50 lumen range) floody light.
A single K2 version of my little friend. 100-130 lumens with throw.
While these are not as bright as My Little Friend, they should be more affordable for those with limited means.
Just a reminder these are musings. They may never get built.

And what would I use for a belt holster for it?
It should fit in a Nite-Ize Mini Pock-its (front pocket). Won't know for sure until I get My Little Friend.
