SF KL5 shape changed?

I had an L5 earlier this year, which I sold. Regretted it and got another, but the KL5 head on this one is shaped slightly different. The bottom ring is flush with the body, where "the old" one flared out.
This is how the new one looks:

Anybody else notice this? Looks like the new KL3 head, if I'm not mistaking!

Hm, I knew the KL3 changed, didnt know the KL5 did too.

Personally, I like the old style better,
glad I grabbed them before they were all gone

Me too! I was kinda bummed when I got this, but nothing wrong with the performance!

Huh! It just goes to show how we are all different. I actually like the new design better than the older flared version. The new design is more utilitarian, which I really like.

I have the older style KL3 GenII head and I like it. But I also like that look for the KL5. Seems fitting for the purpose...

I prefer the new look ... but since my KL5 is soooo great I guess I won't change it ...
