Does anyone have suggestions on where to find parts for a head assembly that will accomodate a Lux III and appropriate heatsink? It needs to have a glass lens, optics for a narrow beam and some way that I can attach it to a gooseneck flex tube with 5/8-27 threads (standard microphone).
I would like to keep the diameter of the head down to appoximately the size of a minimag head (around 1 inch), and no longer than 3-4 inches in length for the overall length of head and adapter for the gooseneck
The head will be driven by an external AC to DC driver that is current regulated to 700ma, and will be connected to the head with wiring run through the gooseneck. Pretty much I'm trying to put together a task light for restricted areas.
Thanks for any suggestions.

Chimo,
Thanks for the reply. I looked at the mclux pr can kit and it looks like a likely candidate. I could'nt find any specs or dimensions either on the sanwich shop site or in a google search or at Mcgizmo's site. Any chance you might have run across them?
