SOLD

Hi Folks,

I'm presently doing a little house cleaning and came up with enough parts to allow someone to assemble a variety of hotwire systems. Keep in mind that these are for building your own old-school, direct drive, batteries to bulb type of hotwire. No regulation, no resistors, just watts to lumens. Parts such as these allow you to build versions of Aurora, Polaris, Mag85 (you'll need to source or make your own dummy battery spacers for this one) and other variations.

Here is the parts list:
1 x Purple Mag 3D, bored out for 4-across packing of any AA cell. 12-cell maximum
1 x Modamag 12AA battery carrier
12 x CBP1650 10-amp flat top high current AA cells (yes, these will handle 8+ amps with no problem)
12 x rare earth magnets that can be put on the flat tops to create a nipple
4 x teflon donut spacers to use in the top layer of cells in the Modamag carrier to prevent shorting
1 x Kiu's drop-in Mag D lamp holder kit
1 x WA01185 bipin bulb
1 x WA01160 bipin bulb
1 x Ushio 12V 50W 6,500K color (blue/white) 12 degree MR-16 reflector lamp
1 x Iwasaki EYE 12V 75W 3,000K color 10 degree MR-16 reflector lamp
1 x Osram 12V 100W 64623HLX bipin bulb, long life (overdrive) 2,800 lumen
1 x Osram 12V 100W 64625HLX bipin bulb, 3,600 lumen
2 x Osram 12V 100W 62138HLX axial filament bipin bulb, 2,800 lumen
1 x Philips 12V 100W 402158 Capsuline Pro, long life (overdrive) this bulb is not available in the US and was purchased in Germany

Altogether, the parts come to at least $170 if you could find them and if you could get them in quantity pricing.

Price: $125 shipped. PayPal or money order are ok.

First "I'll take it" post here wins. Please contact me via the board email system as I do not spend much time here anymore.

Thanks for looking and keep those wires hot n bright.

I'm sorry to ask this and you probably don't know, but will three 'A' size cells fit across in this host. I know they won't fit in the battery holder. Thanks.

Yep, I do know. 3 A's will not fit.
