Obviously see through, to protect torch when used in very wet, over water, or even in the water.

Is there such a beast(s).

Not talking about waterproof torches here, generic container(s) to fit any torch.

Different sizes of course.

Bit like a see through cigar tube I'm thinking.

For retreival, floating only, with fairly waterproof torch, some sort of rubber ball attached to lanyard ?

those air-tight containers will work i think,as air is less dense then water it will make the container float

I wouldn't bet a SF M6 on it, but the Pelican cases (from Battery Station, for one) would most likely float for a while even with a flashlight inside. They have seals around the door opening and a burphole for pressure relief.

The Pelican and Otter boxes will both float and keep stuff in them dry.

And I would bet my M6 on it!

Obviously I am thinking that the torch would be on, and usable whilst in the case.

You might check out some of the nalgene or polycarbonate screw cap bottles most camping stores sell. Definitely waterproof and should easily float.
