Brings a post back to the top of the "unread" pages - just like adding a new post, well it is adding a "new post"!
The thing is, some folks like to abuse it because they have read the post, so the poster thinks that the post has dropped down on everyone else's list as well.
Not so - it should still appear as an unread post to those who haven't read it in the first place. Now that I've probably tied enough knots in that straight string....
We strongly discourage too many bumps!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's like spamming! Seems once ever few days or couple days should work...typically used to refresh old threads or used in the B/S/T Forums (all too often I must say!).
