i was browsing ebay and stumbled across this ;

has anyone tried one of these lights? are they really using luxeon star as stated on the packaging? they dont seem like the typical china/hongkong lights... the body is quite different and its the only one so far ive seen with this body.

i have a couple china brand 3W LED torches, they aren't the worst thing known to man kind.. they are way better than a mag light AA, and for the price its good but some arent manufactured with acceptable quality so you may need to resolder or rewire the flashlight for it to even work as designed.
