Surefire U2 Emitter Swap - how hard?

Saw that a few folks will do this swap, I like to DIY and have already loosened my bezel. Anyone have a quick description and maybe some pix?

I'm not sure what bin my U2 is but I have to bet it's not a WW0S

If you got the bezel off, you're home free. The hardest part has been completed.

Here's a nice pic of the inside of the head. You may have already seen this if you've opened the bezel.

Just unsolder the two leads and scrape out the old emitter. The old emitter will likely be destroyed in the process. Get some thermal epoxy (Artic Alumina adhesive?) and cement the new Lux in its place. Solder up the wires, and you're good to go.

Make sure you get the polarity correct!

I guess that's what I'm wondering - how do I get this off? I'm thinking about clamping it to a table and using a razor blade (The kind that you use in scrapers or box cutters)

Is that all there is to it? Do I have to clean or hone the heat sink?
