Anyone know where I can get some Nyogel from locally in the UK? I havent got a clue where to start looking? i doubt B&Q has any?

Im thinking 759G for the threads, mainly a clickie repair on a U2, and possibly some 779ZC for the O-rings?

Id get it shipped, but id like to get my U2 fully fixed (if possible) before my camping trip in a couple days, shipping wont make it in time.

Wisdom appreciated as always.

Craig.

Greetings from the Wess Vinglun!
If you go to a camping shop you'll find little tubes of o-ring lubricant for Katadyn water filters.
I know Snow & Rock do them - maybe Black's do too.

Hi Craig,

I'm not aware of any in the UK.
Halfords in the bike section do Silicon spray called GT85 and is awesome (red & black can £3 something).
They use for lubing bike chains and the like. Works ultra smooth on threads.
Progold is the best for switches and threads too IMHO.

PM sent shortly with further details.

You're welcome to contact me for the details of where I purchased it in the UK although I doubt you'll be able to get it delivered in time.

Took 3 days to get to UK

(I appreciate that this won't fix you up for your trip)

Well thanks to Dreamscape ive managed to breath some life back into the U2 clicky, it was working perfect after the lube was applied, but after a hundred clicks or so, its starting to return to its previous habbits, it does still work though, more so than it did before, and should last out the camping trip. Thanks again Colin!

A Pleasure Craig ;)
Nice to meet up with another CPF'er.
The Progold seemed to do the trick for a while then.
I do hope the replacement switch sorts the issue out!

Hope you had a great camping trip and the U2 held up ;)
