I tried a quick search but "L4" can't be searched for.
Anyway, I have an L4 that is a few years old at least, probably one of the first ones made (relatively speaking). I'm wondering how much brighter the new ones are. It seems they are now rated at 100 lumens. I'm wondering if a new one would be brighter enough to justify buying it. Is the difference very noticeable in the real world or just on paper? Thanks.

So far, I think the general concensus has been that the change from 60 lumens to 100 Lumens is more a result of the method of measurement than an actual change in the light. And if that is the case, I don't know how much of a real difference you would see.

yeah, Im pretty sure Ront is right. The same thing has been happening with most of the highpowered surefire LEDs. I think it might be to keep up with the blown up measurements given by other LED light manufacturers.
