L2P vs BBNG500 Sammy

Does anyone own both? Wondering if anyone knows first hand how they compare ...throw, spill, regulation, etc. I have a host mini-mag. Would like a mod to be equal to or better than L2P ...am I dreaming?

I don't have both, the L2P is brighter and whiter than my Terralux 2 AA
Mag drop in by far.

I think the NG500 would definitely be brighter than the L2P.

chrome-addict, get the L2P, Much nicer (more useful) beam and a lifetime warrantee. I doubt a useful warrantee exists for a "Sammie". I personly wouldn't trust the reliability of a "Sammie"

I'm also wondering the same thing, thinking of getting a gift for a friend and using one of these two options. I personally would rather trust the reliability of a product handmade by professionals than a mass produced light with a useful warranty, but i'm more concerned with brightness and runtime.

I vote no contest the NG500. Beam is BEAUTIFUL with the So17 or Mc18R reflectors and really reliable with stock twisty. Plus, its cheap to replace the host incase you drop it in sewage or something
