What's a good digital/analog trainer to buy?

My R.S.R. Electronics Inc. PAD-234A D/A trainer got smashed.

What should I replace it with? Or what's a good board to buy to use for experimenting with LEDs and stuff? I have some regular old breadboards, but I want something that is powered and has connections and stuff on it.

That's a tough one. Heathkit used to make some nice ones with built-in power supplies. You might be able to find one of those on ebay or at a hamfest. Good luck - those are fun to use.
