Almost a year ago, I purchased a couple of SF 5w "error" lights from TW. Basically, a L4, but without the regulated head, thus allowing the light to run very brightly off 2 x R123 cells.
The first light I purchased died a quick death and the head was replaced by Surefire with a normal KL4 head.
The second "error" unit continues to burn away, probably having gone through at least a dozen battery changes.
How are the rest of you doing long-term with your error lights?
Thanks,
Marc
