ENERGIZER HARDCASE 2AA

I`ve just bought one of these flashlights.

It`s not very bright with one 5mm Led, but the runtime is rated at 50hrs.

It`s built like a tank.

my question is has anybody had one apart, mine has a fingerprint on the inside of the lens and i dont want to wreck it removing the rubber cap on the end.

I tried the finger test to see if it was regulated, no light so their must be some type of circuit inside.

I tried to measure the current level drawn from the cells, it measured between 15-20mah, I used 3 different DMM`s but the light output during the test was not a bright as when the light is running normaly.

TB - Likely you have given up on a response. That said I recently sent two of these lights to Milkyspit for modding with better LEDs - one orange and one white. If are still interested you might check with Milky for details on the questions you posted. Good luck. Kirk
