What is a L6-P?? Is it more powerful than the standard SF L6??

Hi guys!

I just got myself a SureFire L6 from another fellow CPFer... who also owns the L6-P(P for Porcupine)

The L6 ROCKS!!!! But... doesn't out-throw my trusty Inova T3!

However, the overall output and beam shot of the L6 is just awesome!!! Now I know why CPFer nc987 says that the beam quality of the L6 is "perfect"

SF's revised rating of 100 Lumens seems entirely believable.

When I asked him how the standard L6 fared against the L6-P, he stated that it was an unfair comparison, indicating that the L6-P was more powerful and had a "whiter" tint.

Is this true? If so, why?

Don't know about this one. But even if it's true there's no surprise either. After all, the L6P is a limited-production model so maybe SF has picked the best LuxVs for use on these units.

I didn't notice any significant difference but then I wasn't looking for any...
