Soldering Wires to Lux III Star

I read somewhere to limit the soldering gun tip temp when soldering to the pads on Luxeon III stars. Anyone know anything about limits when it comes to soldering?

The pads are so thin that it only takes 1/10th of a second to solder wires too. I would't worry about it. My gun is 800 degrees I believe.
