what you think about this? is a osram halogen bulb with integrated big reflector (111mm diamater). there is the SuperSPot version that do a 4° beam (without any artifact, is a multifaceted reflector) with virtually no spill. 50k lux at 12V that can become up to 200k lux at 19V

would be perfect for do a searchlight like a poorman-megaray :)

in germany they cost around 15-20$ (bulb with alu reflector)

lamp life 3000h at 12V, 30h at 18V

wattage:

35W 4° 40k lux (at 12v)
50W 4° 45k lux (at 12v)

this for the SSP (superspot 4°) version

100W 8° 48k lux (at 12v)
65W IRC 8° 43k lux (at 12v)

this the SP (spot 8°) version

there is also the FL (flood 24°), WFL (wide flood 45°) versions but sure... lux are much less

p.s.
i repeat: at 18V the lux will be 4 times more

No, lux is not equal to candela.

You can't rate a lamp in lux (at least if you want it to make sense). What you are interested in if you have a reflector lamp is luminous intensity which is measured in candela [Cd].

this what silverfox sayd time ago:

"The reason we normalize everything to 1 meter is because lux at 1 meter (or foot candles at 1 foot) is equal to candela, and the square root of candela gives us the distance in meters that the light drops to 1 lux (or the distance in feet that the light drops to 1 foot candle)."

when i sayd 50k lux for that lamp i understand at one meter

I knew what you meant, but it's like saying "We are currently traveling at 60 miles so we should be there in 40 minutes." when you in fact mean 60 miles/hour. Using candela eliminates all possibility for erroneous assumptions and it is the base SI-unit for light. Very useful! :)

btw; they do send overseas but it's ridiculously expensive -> 26,90 Euros :sick2:.

If there´s still interest I could help out (as I´m german) by ordering & sending them much cheaper.
