The new Streamlight Night Com that Brightguy.com is selling? Seems like a nifty idea. I'm tempted to order one.

For me, I'm a tad bit partial though. Looks like it's not made here in the U.S.A. Granted some things I do have and do purchase, even some components, are made elsewhere other than the U.S. is fine with me. . .Looking forward to someone doing a write-up on this particular model.

Enjoy!

This looks very cool and geeky :D !

Two things come to mind though:
Is this watertight and how will the switch hold up?
Why the heck don't they offer white LEDs?

Bernie, and if it is watertight, for how long? Yes I too would prefer white LEDs. I also would prefer a glass lens.

If you ,like the Twin Tasks, you'll like the Night Com.

The LED's work well. Note, though, that the single LED mode is NOT for illumination, but more of a marker light (i.e. leave it on so you can find the light in the dark). The little rotary switch is a bit difficult to navigate if you have pudgy fingers.

I like it. Not the most powerful 2-cell light, but overall functional.
