I know this may be difficult as I am sure there may be "several" but if ya had to pick "one" what would it be? You know the scenario, you may own the movie on VHS or DVD or heck even BETA, it can be on newtwork T.V., Cable/Satelite or whatever but no matter your rational you just HAVE to watch it AGAIN!

For me back in the days when I was single, lived alone and had the time to watch many a movie a day I remember for a MONTH straight as I got ready for bed I would pop in "Tin Men" and watch it then go to sleep. I even recorded the movie on cassette tape and listened to it at work...those were the days.

Shawshank Redemption

(which is really annoying because I hate Tim Robbin's political grandstanding)

Is that the US release of Advent Children? I got the Japan version with English subtitles but the US release has not hit my favorite haunts yet. I am curious to see how the dialog changes from the subtitled version to the English dub.

My list is: (not in any order)

Advent Children
Forbidden Planet
Crossroads Music Festival
Constantine
Event Horizion
A lot of bad tacky slasher/horror flicks

That movie is on TBS and other TV stations a lot and I always find myself watching it over other programs when it is on.

Well I watch "It's a Wonderful Life" at least once a year near Christmas. Christmas Vacation is another one I watch quite a bit.

Tombstone
The Three Stooges <-not really a movie but I could watch the Stooges short
films all day.
Patton
Glory
Forrest Gump
Pirates of the Caribbean
Gettysburg
Gods and Generals
Ace Ventura When Nature Calls

Those are off the top of my head. If I could only choose one it would be hard to do but Tombstone would probably be it.

Pellidon - came out yesterday.

Didn't think I would like it as much as I do as I had the jap version with subtitles and really liked the japanese voices.....

Either way you slice it a badass movie...

I just discovered Lonesome Dove - I don't watch much television, and haven't for years, obviously. Robert Duvall is just incredible in LD, and the film has a way of moving me out of the present. I still find little mistakes in the film, which disrupts the suspension of disbelief, but it's a great movie.

Another vote for Pulp Fiction!

Too many to list, but I've seen The Crow, Woodstock, Sid and Nancy, The Wall and Repo Man a bunch of times.

I love a good soundtrack with my midnight movies

Lonesome Dove is also one of my favorites which I forgot about.

1. Christmas Story - at least once a Chirstmas season
2. Christmas Carol/Scrooge - every version I can find, favorite is Patrick Stewart or any real old version
3. Last of the Mohicans - Daniel Day Lewis version
4. Jerimiah Johnson
5. The Mountain Men
6. Twister
7. Any Harry Potter movie
8. LOTR trilogy
9. What Dreams May Come - Robin Williams vs. Hell lol

Those are some of the ones I have watched many many times.

Starship Troopers is one of my favorite books, but they butchered it when they made the movie. I figured it was just typical Hollywood: go for the action scenes, ignore the story. Out of my fondness for the book, I bought the special edition DVD. I was shocked to learn that all the things that bugged me about the movie were deliberate. The similarity to Nazi style clothing, the propaganda like news flashes, the "kid" replacement troops, etc. were all deliberately introduced by the director to make a political statement. How anybody could read the book and still have such a warped view of military service is beyond me.

Ugh, Ocean's Eleven, but not because I want to. Every time I watch a movie with a group of any sort (friends, youth group at church, etc.) it always ends up being Ocean's Eleven. Unfortunately that's the kind of movie that's decent the first time, but gets really, really bad very quickly after that.

The Matrix has good replay value. I watch that a lot.
