Hi cy! Is the PD a TYOJ or a TWOJ?

By the way, if it's a u-bin, I'll take it. =)

One more post. =) I'm really intrigued about the fireplug, cy - I've never seen it mentioned before. Can you share with me any more about it? I'm searching CPF now...but any info on battery type, LED (a 3 or a 5?), etc. would be greatly appreciated!

PD's color is TYOJ, very white pleasing beam...

Fireplug is A1 with CR2 body and two stage flat tailcap with two stage switch.

I've handled a number of Ubin's and this is the BRIGHTEST Ubin I've seen so far. puts out almost same amount of light as several Surefire L4 5watt in ceiling tests.

three watt Ubin w/DB requires CR2 li-ion to drive in regulation. you can also use with other body choices up to 3x CR123.

tint is an excellent XO or blueish tint, this is what I see, you may see differently. so bin would be UXOJ...

here's another pic..

Fireplug running thru Downboy draws 591 milliamps to overachieving Ubin.

Still available!!!

In #2, by Xbin do you mean that it is X_ _ _ or _X0_? All of these look very nice, happy selling.

Mclux PD is still available.....

mini-modder.. Xbin PR was made by Don long before the new bin codes. I've tracked down this light all the way back to original purchaser. X3T is the actual bin for this light. beam is warm yellowish tint. this is what I see, you may see differently.

This Xbin light was lovingly EDC'd and has wear all over. only reason I'm selling is Xbin has been a safe queen too. it needs to be used again. with two stage upgrade, this light is fully functional. driven by BB750, you can use 2x CR123 or single li-ion.

Cy,

You never cease to amaze me with the unreal quantity and quality of the contents of your collection. Remarkable, and inspiring. I missed this one, would have lunged for the TK and fireplug. Xbin PR is too pricey for me. CNC light looks nice, dont know anything about it at all. Resembles Groovy.....

I have a burning question that would be incredibly nice to have answered. Okay, two of them. #1: whats yer favorite (single, all-time)? #2 how many (number, total, guess)?

I thought TIN bought the PD?

Anyhow Fenix L1+ = $225, I gotta ask, why so much?
Curious is all

Mini,

X refers to luminous flux as in 192-240 lumens or thereabouts when driven at spec current. The old color classification system used to be a single character, not two like the current binning system. The old one was a seimplistic scale of 1-5 with 3 (in the middle) being the closest to pure white. So X represented flux amount and a single 1-5 digit was the tint. The new system uses X and Y coordinates on a spectral response graph of Planckian blackbody temperature for much more precise description of nature of tint.
