Can you measure lux in an Electrolux?

They call these lamps, but they look like flashlights to me. I guess they are not battery operated though. This is a cool idea for a really unusual DIY light though. A dozen 3W Luxeons, Thor innards, 500 5mm Nichias? :grin2: Put a shoulder strap on it and it would look like a flashlight from a 1950's B grade science fiction movie.

Cute.

Years ago, a friend from South Africa told me that in her home country and elsewhere, the company's slogan was (is?) "Nothing sucks like an Electrolux."

I've heard that before, but I was never sure if it was a real slogan or a joke. It works as either one actually.

For these it would have to be "Nothing throws like an Electrolux." Doesn't have the ring to it though. :thumbsdow
