Maximum Throw for an E1

I have this light as an E1L, it throws.
It as per reviews, the E1 when equipped with the optional KL1 Head will out throw the former incan head, now if you run it on Li-Ions it will have ahigher output.
This if you can use a tight spot like the KL1 head provides, is a win-win situation.
