I'd be interested to hear from other Gladius owners about how the lock-out function on their works. Actually, my question is about how the tailcap unlocks. My Gladius, which is very recent production, seems to need the same slight depression of the center button/switch to unlock that it needs to lock. I'm curious whether others are the same going from locked to "channel 3."

Yup it needs a little depression to lock and unlock. Guess its the design... for added security? You won't hit off/lockout with a healthy flick nor will it unlock accidentally in the pocket/bag.

don't use lockout position on Gladius.

if you drop directly on button in lockout position. good chance of breakage. any other position, gladius is like a tank.

does anyone know if Gladius has fix this issue yet.
